GUMPTYR: Morning Bacon with James Baxter #1

Well as I sit here eating delicious morning bacon, I have to decided to write the first of what could potential be a long running and decent blog given the right amount of time. My name is James Baxter, or Brodie Sexton-Clark (being my real name and all), and I am one of the primary forces behind a little independant film company AXfilms, which does not currently have a webpage but does however have a youtube channel, which I have linked up the top and a twitter. Also perhaps in the scheme of things may later have a blog all to its on, but for now I'll post any blog updates for it on here

I am a writer/director, actor, camera man, amatuer photographer, editor and all around massive movie historian and avid watcher. I have made two 40 minute feature length films, one of which I co-directed with my good friend and longtime collaborator Owen Bailey-McKay. Both of which are currently in the editing stages. The latter being The Mighty Air Guitar Band and currently being edited by me. Though its quite the bitch

I am a massive film guy and some of my favourite directors include Akira Kurosawa, Billy Wilder, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Jean-Luc Godard, Ingmar Bergman, Fritz Lang, Terry Gilliam, Alfred Hitchcock and Buster Keaton to name just a few. I'll most likely use this blog to post pictures I take, updates on the work I do, perhaps some movie reviews and every so often some thoughts I may have.
